Jim Walsh, managing editor of Texas School Administrators' Legal Digest, is one of the founding members of Walsh, Anderson, Brown, Gallegos & Green, P.C., which represents many school districts and other educational entities in Texas and New Mexico. He is a sought after speaker at educator conferences nationally and authors the LAW DAWG and Law Dawg - unleashed! columns in the Legal Digest and Texas School Business, respectively.
A 1975 graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, Walsh is the co-author of The Educator's Guide to Texas School Law and the author of This Just In..., a monthly newsletter on special education. He has taught school law at Baylor University and Texas State University and has conducted in-service training sessions at every Education Service Center in the state and for hundreds of school districts.
