Jim Walsh

Jim Walsh is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law and one of the founders of Walsh, Anderson, Brown, Schulze & Aldridge, P.C. He is the author of the Common Sense Guide to Special Education Law, co-author with Frank Kemerer and Laurie Maniotis of The Educator's Guide to Texas School Law and numerous other books on school law. He writes the popular "Law Dawg" column for each issue of the Legal Digest. Jim is a presenter at most Legal Digest conferences and he plays D. W. Doright, principal of Blusterville High School, in the Legal Digest videotape series.

Ted Siff is a graduate of Harvard College and has more than 15 years of magazine, book and newsletter publishing experience. He is responsible for the overall operations of the Legal Digest and it's parent company, Park Place Publications, L.P. He is also publisher of the Legal Digest's sister publication, Texas School Business Magazine.

Jennifer Childress

Jennifer Childress is a graduate of Rice University and the University of Texas School of Law. She is responsible for managing the Legal Digest's Editorial Advisory Board, editing the newsletter, writing the legal developments section of the newsletter and securing the presenters for all Legal Digest conferences and workshops. She also manages the editing and updating of all Legal Digest school law charts and handbooks.

Debbie Stover has been with us since May 2006. Debbie came
to us from the Texas Educational Support Staff Association where she was
Executive Administrative Assistant for 14 years. Her responsibilities here include
accounts receivable, billing, conference planning and registrations, Legal Digest subscriptions, and other office management responsibilities. She also manages subscriptions and billing for our sister publication, Texas School Business Magazine.

Stephen Markel attended Texas Tech University and the University of Hawai'i. He has 10 years of management experience in the E-Commerce and Customer Service industry. He is responsible for all product orders, shipping and receiving, conference sales, website maintenance, marketing and other customer service related items. He also manages customer service and marketing for our sister publication, Texas School Business Magazine.
