Two former West Texas school district trustees have been sentenced to federal prison for their role in a public corruption scheme set to steer the district’s medical insurance contracts to a vendor. Charles Garcia had pleaded guilty last year to mail fraud, while Raymundo Rodriguez pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail fraud.
