Houston Independent School District received a grant of $28,000 from Consulate-General of Japan.
“The grant will allow us to continue providing a high-quality, Japanese-language program for students. We are fortunate to be able to support the City of Houston’s Sister-City program with Chiba, Japan,” said WendenSanders, principal at Johnston Middle School, in the release from Houston Independent School District.
