Under a national media spotlight, the La Feria school district Friday decided to allow an 18-year-old transgender student to appear in a tuxedo in his senior yearbook portrait, Superintendent Ray Villarreal said.  The agreement came after school attorney Ivan Perez discussed Jeydon Loredo’s request with his attorney Alesdair Ittelson, who works with the Southern Poverty Law Center, a civil rights group based in Montgomery, Ala. “I am glad that this issue has come to a resolution and I trust it has been in the best interest of the student, the school and the community,” Villarreal said late Friday afternoon…
