Ted Siff

Ted is a graduate of Harvard College and has more than 25 years of publishing experience. He is responsible for the overall operations of Park Place Publications, L.P., which is the parent company of the Legal Digest, Legal Digest Events and Ed311. He is board president of the Old Austin Neighborhood and Shoal Creek Conservancy and treasurer of the Conservation History Association of Texas. Ted and his wife, Janelle, a professional actress, live in downtown Austin with their two daughters and many cats.

Stephen Markel

Stephen attended Texas Tech University and the University of Hawai’i. He has over 15 years of management experience in the e-commerce, marketing and events industries. He has been with Park Place Publications L.P. since 2005. He is a board member of the OUTsider Festival, and a founding member of the Stargayzer Music Festival.  Stephen actively serves as a volunteer for the iconic Austin City Limits television show, the ACL Music Festival, SXSW, AIDS Services of Austin, and gaybigaygay.  His husband Curtis, and their two dogs live in South Austin.

Ambrose Austin

You can contact Ambrose about anything from conferences to products to the new digital publication Postscripts.

Ambrose has a Masters in Legal Studies from Texas State University and a BA from The New School. He’s a generalist rather than a specialist and likes to take on projects where he can learn new skills. His many interests include sci-fi, history, and craft coffee. Ambrose built this and the other company websites using WordPress and has also built sites for Shoal Creek Conservancy, gaybigaygay, The Gay Wax Museum, and Erica Nix Photography. Ambrose lives with his fabulous wife, Cassidy, in East Austin with their cat and two dogs.

Jennifer Childress

Jennifer is a graduate of Rice University and the University of Texas School of Law. She is the author of The Texas Legal Handbook on Student Bullying, The Bullying Law Blog and is also co-author to many of the Legal Digest school law charts and handbooks. Jennifer is the editor Legal Digest Conference Postscripts and programs the speakers and topics for our conferences and workshops. She is also an associate of Walsh, Gallegos, Trevino, Russo & Kyle P.C., she and her husband, Brett, have four children who attend Austin ISD schools.
