A family suing the Plano ISD claiming their son’s religious freedoms were violated failed to properly notify the school district about its concerns, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit ruled last week. The ruling applies to one portion of one family’s complaints in the complex “candy cane” lawsuit that began nearly a decade ago.
